In April 1992, Hunan Lihai Micromotor Co., Ltd. was founded and began to enter the micro-motor industry.

In March 1993, Hunan Lihai Micromotor Co., Ltd. officially began to produce motors

In July 1994, the company built the cooperation relations with Turkish company Ihoras. It was the first time to export the products.

In August 2001, privatization reform was carried out and Hunan Keli Motor Co., Ltd. was established.

In September 2003, universial motor production line had been moved to Shenzhen from Hunan. Shenzhen universial motor branch plant was built.

In February 2005, Keli moved into the new plant, expanding  factory size and increasing its motor manufacturing capabilities significantly.

In June 2005, Shenzhen Marketing Center was established in Futian, strengthening the communication with Hongkong and exploring the international market  on a large scale.

In October 2005, Shenzhen universal motor branch plant was restructured as Shenzhen Kejing Motor Co., Ltd.

In August 2006, the company started to cooperate with Gorenje, its first customer in Europe, expanding the European market.

In June 2007, Keli enter the global high-end market by cooperating with Electrolux, its the first fortune 500 customer.

In May 2009, Keli established cooperation with CADET, the first customer in the United States, expanding the North American market.

In June 2009, Shenzhen Keli Motor Co., Ltd. was established.

In September 2010, Hunan Keli Motor Co., Ltd. was established. Then the company began to consolidate resources for listing.

In June 2012, Keli established cooperation with Mondial, its first customer in South America, expanding the South American market.

In January 2013, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Electrolux and become Electrolux global strategic supplier.

In October 2014, Yongzhou Keli Motor Co., Ltd. was established.

In June 2015, Qiyang County Keli Motor Co., Ltd. was established.

In July 2015, the company set out to enter the field of robot and industrial automation by developing the universal servo motor.

In November 2015, keli carried out joint-stock reform and set up Hunan Keli Motor Co., Ltd to accelerate the procedure of listing. 

In 2015, its export earnings exceeded 50 million US dollars for the first time.

In May 2016, established cooperation with Hisense Group.

In January 2017, established cooperation with Universal, the first customer in Africa, and expand the African market.

In August 2017, the company listed on the SME board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

In January 2018, Nie Pengju was elected as the representative of the 13th National People's Congress.

In November 2018, Nie Pengju was elected as the second chairman of Keli.

In February 2019, the Shenzhen Operation Center settled in the Shenzhen Bay Tech-Eco Park as the company's operational headquarters.

In May 2019, the company changed its name to "Keli Motor Group Co., Ltd." and entered the group development.

In July 2019, Keli open its Industrial Control Division, Pump Division, and DC Brushless Division, and universal servo technology laboratory.

In September 2019, Shenzhen Keli Motion Control Technology Co., Ltd. was established to accelerate the development of step motors.

In November 2019, Shenzhen Keli Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. was established as a holding platform for the company's Shenzhen industrial development.

In January 2020, The company successfully developed its latest generation of V6 servo motors, drives and 17-bit magnetic encoders.

In March 2020, Shenzhen Keli Pump Co., Ltd. was established to expand the pump market.

In March 2020, Shenzhen Keli Industrial Automation Control Technology Co., Ltd. was established to accelerate the transformation and upgrading to robotics and industrial automation.
